As a 2023 bride to be, a wedding planner book is essential to the I am diving head first into wedding planning. Professionally, I am an event planner, so I’m wildly pumped about creating this with my fiancé. Organization is key with this process since there are so many little details that need to be looked over.
Here are three planners I found on Amazon that would be a good buddy for any bride going through the wedding process.
Tips to finding the perfect wedding planner book
- Purchase the planner to get a closer look – if there is a kind enough return policy, take advantage of it. Let them ship it to you so you can flip through the pages, see the size, and understand the material inside.
- Find your criteria– what do you want this planner to hold? Do you want a month to month checklist? A budget section? A notebook with prompts? Figure out your non negotiables and that will help narrow down your search
- Creative space is important– find a planner that gives you ample space for vision.
- FAQ– a lot fo planners will have frequently asked questions for vendors in their books. I found these to be super helpful when chatting with my florist, photographer, and DJ.
- Aesthetic comes second– I know we want everything in our wedding to be pretty but this planner will be a total waste if it doesn’t have the content inside you’re looking for.
To narrow my process down a bit I ended up purchasing three planners that made it through my screening process. I did not keep all three of these planners and I ended up with the XXXX because it fit more of my personal needs. So, here are the three wedding planner books every pen-to-paper bride needs.
1. Your Perfect Day Wedding Planner Book
This planner had everything I never wouldve thought of. This book includes hundreds of tips, recommendations and things that you may not have thought to include. It’s like having a private wedding consultant by your side, holding your hand throughout the journey.
Size wise, this planner was huge compared to others. So the size can be off putting but I definitely loved the amount of space I had when I was in inspiration mode. It offered vision board aspects for an excited bride.
A few other features I really enjoyed were the concise amount of sections but still covering every detail. Each section had a pocket folder for brochures, contracts etc, so you are bale to house your wedding pieces all in one place. Additionally, each section offered question suggestions for your vendors, which is very helpful when you are scheduling tons of calls for prices and details.
The Your Perfect Day wedding planner is what I went with.
2. The Caledonia Design Co. Something Blue Wedding Planner Book
You will be stunned by the packaging. This is a beautifully crafted planner that has a lot of personality. I loved how there was even a spot to write down your engagement story with pictures! This planner haas quite a few sections divided by timelines as well as pieces of your wedding.
I didn’t find too much space dedicated to inspiration and figuring out what it is you want for your wedding, but every other detail was covered in this wedding planner book.
This planner is divided into sections as if it is intended to operate as a count down with a timeline from 12 months togo to 1 week to go. I recommend the Caledonia Design for the very time oriented bride as this will be a useful tool.
Another major pro with this planner was that it is not too bulky and was regular notebook size for easy transport.

3. Frances Lincoln’s Wedding Planner
This planner felt very celebratory from the cover to the content on the inside. If you’re feeling the stress of the wedding more than the celebrations, get this planner. The size is what ultimately caught my eye as it’s the size of a regular novel. Packed with intimate detail questions for your big day, you will be sure to not miss a thing if you go through each one.
I was a little thrown because this was a UK wedding planner. A few questions and traditions were off from what American’s are used to. This didn’t pose too much of a problem but if you’re going the traditional route, you might have to do some extended research instead of having it right there in your planner.
This was a highly detail focused wedding planner book with more sections than I have seen with the rest of the mentioned planners.
Girl, get the Wedding Planner Book
So there you have it friends. These are my top 3 wedding planner books I found on Amazon. Of course you can look elsewhere, there are a ton of beautiful planners all around, this was jsut the simplest way for me to get my hands on them.
