I used to get Ipsy bags every month. I loved them. It was a little unexpected treat every month. I’ve recently canceled my subscription because I realized that ALL of my bathroom drawers were filled with products I never used. Not that I didn’t like them, I honestly just forgot about them. I got the bag, checked out what goodies came inside, and chucked them in the drawer. I should’ve realized there was a problem when I was three drawers deep yet somehow I found myself cleaning out all of my bathroom drawers of unused Ipsy products. I canceled my subscription right then and there because I clearly didn’t have a need (or room) for more. I’m glad something in me finally said: “ Hey, you should probably clean out your bathroom drawers so you don’t have so much crap sitting on your counter.” What a concept, subconscious!
Let me get back on track here. I went through every single product. I kid you not, that had to of been 75 different make-up products, and out of all 75 of these awesome makeup products, one stuck out to me. I’m not saying they were bad, I’m just saying only one stuck out. That was Symphony Beauty’s Snow Cream moisturizer. It was like moisturizing with fluffed gold.
Honestly, I never do product reviews because I genuinely think no one cares for them or my opinion but then I tried Symphony Beauty’s snow cream moisturizer and I get it. I need to share this with the world.
This beauty moisturizer is GREAT for dry eyelids and dry skin on your face. If it weren’t for beauty snow, ain’t no way in hell would my eyeshadow have stayed put on my eyelids through those dry winter months. Unfortunately for me, my dry skin is year-round so this baby stays fully stocked in my medicine cabinet.
How it works:
The suggested use is you can put it on before you do your face make up which is totally fair. Rub it into any crease or crevice on your face and neck and it will completely wipe away any pores or moisturize any skin lacking a little H20. This moisturizer would put snow to shame. It is so soft I even put it on my eyelids because I have yet to have any irritation. This whipped gel does not leave behind any greasy residue so you can apply at any time of the day.
Not a bad use, but for me, I have a different way of applying.
How it works (for me):
Since my eyelids are so dry, on a consistent basis, it doesn’t really matter if I put moisturizer on my eyelids before I apply my eye makeup because I’ll find them dried out again in like 4 minutes after all the rubbing and dabbing from my brushes and blenders. What I have found is I can apply Symphony Beauty’s snow cream moisturizer straight on my eyelid, after I’ve applied my eye makeup and it doesn’t mess it up. There are no streaks, no greasy eyelid syndrome after, and NO CREASES.
Just in case you need any more convincing, this product is cruelty-free, has a very faint, yet pleasing aroma, and is great for combination skin.
I know my use isn’t the intended purpose but life is all about innovation. I like to think I can be my own Pinterest board sometimes.
Sometimes I’ll add in a little rejuveniqe oil in the dry winter months for added nourishment.
Conveniently enough, the snow cream moisturizer is a Prime item on Amazon, and will only run you about $16. Ipsy used to sell sample sizes so you could at least try it before you commit to purchasing the big boy, but they’ve been sold out for quite some time now, but do I have good news for you…
