Hair washing schedule

Life be busy, but I got you! Self-care is super important, and even if you only get that time while you are in the shower, take advantage of that time!

I’ve created a monthly hair wash schedule for you, VIP or not, to help keep your locks a priority.

I rotate between an oil treatment, hair masque, and scalp scrub to make sure I’m getting maximum use of my products without over-applying on my hair.

Washing my hair every three days ensures I do not overwash or under wash my hair. Overwashing your hair can make your follicles dry and brittle. This is what causes breakage. On the other hand, going ten days without washing your hair is unnecessary. It’s not a competition. That can become unsanitary, so it is good to have a happy balance in your hair wash schedule.

The Ultimate Hair Wash Schedule

Moisturizing your hair with an oil treatment helps strengthen your hair. Anyone with a dry scalp, dry hair, coarse or curly hair or has hair damage should be oiling weekly. I recommend a leave-in Rejuveniqe oil treatment to help keep your scalp and hair ends healthier. This oil is MAGIC and is organic.

Next shower, I put in a hair mask to deeply hydrate the hair. Hydration helps with breakage, controls frizz, and helps your hair retain moisture. There are different hair masks for your hair type.

My current or new VIPs can get a hair mask for free this month!

Lastly, scalp scrub is ESSENTIAL to exfoliation and ridding of product build-up. If you’re a religious dry shampooer or even have little dandruff this is the tool for you.

If you feel the need to go a wash without any special hair treatments I would consider adding that in as well.

Happy to make a calendar for anyone else who needs it or hook you up with products tailored to your needs!
